Modern Lazar is a man who has everything but is chronically unhappy and dissatisfied. Contemporary society gives the impression that we are provided for, but we have become slaves of our dependence on comfort. Every day we acquiesce to a cheaper and/or more comfortable variant of life. Life is becoming increasingly fictitious; values are bar coded. We have reached the point where we have dispensed with life.
